Database administration for SQL Server and Snowflake
Hands-on care for the databases your business runs on. We keep SQL Server and Snowflake fast, backed up and recoverable, and we fix what's slow before your users notice. We work with teams in Atlanta and remotely across the United States.
Performance tuning and health checks
We start by measuring: wait statistics, the slowest queries, index use, blocking, and the settings that quietly cost you. You get a plain-English report of what we found, what to fix first and why.
Backups you can actually restore
A backup that has never been restored is a guess. We review what's backed up and how fast you need it back, prove it with a test restore, and write the steps down so anyone on your team can repeat them.
Migrations and upgrades with a way back
Version upgrades, moves to new hardware or the cloud, and consolidations, planned in stages with a tested rollback at every step.
Monitoring that warns you first
Alerts for the things that actually take databases down, like full disks, failed jobs, long blocking chains and missed backups, tuned so they're worth reading.
How we work
Nothing changes in production until you've approved it, and every change is written down afterwards. The person who assesses your system is the person who does the work. Our founder, Corey McCallon, has spent a career close to the data, building AI-assisted operations tooling for large database estates.
Questions
Do you work remotely?
Yes. Most database work is done remotely over a secure connection you control. We're based in Atlanta and can meet on site there.
Which databases do you work with?
Microsoft SQL Server and Snowflake. If you're on a SQL Server version that's out of support, planning the upgrade is often the first job.
Can you help with a one-off problem?
Yes. A health check, a slow-query investigation or a single migration all work as standalone projects, and ongoing care is available too.
Will you change anything without asking?
No. Nothing changes in production without your approval, and every change is recorded.
